Halifax Mobile Home Estates was opened in 1972 and owned and operated, until 2004, by Lawrence M. Henrich, a life-time resident of this area. It is now owned and operated by his children, Larry Henrich and Stacey Sheehan, also lifetime residents of this area. Our community is ideally located one-half mile east of the junction of routes 58 & 106. Within two miles there is a shopping center, restaurants, grocery store, fire and police stations, library, town hall, churches, gas stations, fresh water beaches, senior citizen's center, Mass Transit (The T) and even an 18-hole golf course ! We are approximately 20 minutes from the city of Brockton and the historic town of Plymouth. Most of our 430 homes have been previously occupied with some empty lots available. Most homes available are re-sales and as an agent, we handle approximately 95% of the re-sales. Many of them were built in the late 1970's and most have had extensive updating and remodeling. There are Homes available in various price ranges and sizes . The monthly site fee for 2012 is Only $389.00. This includes many amenities that other communities charge additional for, such as : Cable TV, all town fees and taxes, town water, weekly rubbish pick-up and weekly yard waste removal. We also maintain your septic system. There is an extra charge of $15.00 per month for a third person in the home and $4.00 additional for a corner lot. It is your responsibility to maintain your own home and site, such as lawn mowing, snow removal and driveway upkeep. You pay for your heat, lights, telephone and insurance.
